What would you do in 10 or 20 more years to deal with the global globalization?(Edwin Ciputra XIIa6/17)

This question seems like a simple question but it is hard to try to answer it. Everyone in the world can’t know the future so I don’t know the condition of globalization in 10 or 20 more years. Because of that I can only predict how the condition of globalization in 10 or 20 more years and how to deal with it.

            The first think you must to know is the meaning of globalization. The word ‘globalization’ have a meaning; ‘global’ means the world and ‘lisation’ means process. So globalisation is a term that has a relationship with the increase in relations between nations and people around the world through trade, investment, travel, popular culture, and other forms of interaction. In other words, the emergence of a global economic and cultural system that makes people around the world become a one global society. If you want to get a another answer, globalisation is a term for a developing era and it includes all of the factors, like economics, technology and so on.

            There are many major factors that caused globalization. The first one is the development of technology and information. With the developments of information and communication technology which  have an impact that make easier for you in financial transactions that occur in all countries. Over the past few years there have been many developments in the technology sector and this is  directly related to financial transactions that can make it easier for you to make  transactions not only in your own country but in other countries. But, for the society that doesn’t know how to deal with the globalisation, it can cause some serious issues. So in this situation we have to adapt quickly because this must happen in 10 or 20 years and we should be able to make communication with other countries so that transactions can work well.

The second cause of globalization is because of appears many of international cooperation that facilitated the occurrence of previous financial transactions carried out by various countries. So that it is through the economic sector that makes the number of products from abroad enter the country. When it comes to nation relation, it is always good to have many relation because it can improve not only the good relation between the fellow countries, but it also can increase the amount of cooperation that can lead to the development in economics factor.

Third, the causes of globalization are also still related to the previous causes, there is an advanced delivery system that makes it easy for people to deliver products even though they are very far away. When this happens, all trade processes can be handled easily. of course if the process is successful, everyone will prefer an easy transaction and can establish communication with other countries. In this condition we must be able to read the situation and find various innovations in accelerating transactions using existing technology and also not to forget to make transactions to the domestic sector. We can also make a own country to become a transaction center so we just have to make transaction with another country  in your own country. To make this happen we must encourge our economic sector now and so in 10 or 20 years our country became a transaction center.

The latter is about the national economy. Globalization also occurs because countries in the world are starting to be very open in the economic field, so that global trade is also openly accepted which causes various types of products to exchange from one place to another. Of the products that enter, of course, also contains culture and elements from other countries that affect culture in their own countries. Then the last era Globalization was also encouraged because the money market is now very global which makes financial transactions in one country bigger. Of course so as not to have a negative impact on a country, Globalization must be supported by an awareness to continue to preserve and love our own culture so that we do not lose the essence and to realize that we must continue to preserve our culture so that in 10 or 20 years the culture has not fade and in 10 or 20 year to protect the culture we can make like a museum or a simple concert which have a culture sektor so people who live in the future can study the culture and start to protect the culture

When it comes to globalization, there are always positive and negative factors, because it combines a broad national perspective, and making it as a whole concept requires skills and attitudes that cannot be seen by everyone. Positive factors are; ease of obtaining information and knowledge, enhancing social life, and improving technology, communication, transportation, and information that make people better. This will happen if all parties agree. And then negative factors, namely; it is easy for Western culture to enter and influence our own culture, waning cultural values ​​such as cooperation, empathy , environmental damage caused by pollution, and increasing numbers of illegal smuggling of goods. This can be prevented if we can combine our perspectives and agree to have one interest. Certainly in globalization there is pollution and to reduce pollution in the next 10 or 20 years we have to start looking for ways to reduce pollution with all the existing technology so that in 10 or In the next 20 years there will be no more severe damage and at that time we also have to reduce the pollution with more advanced technology and if the technology does not exist we must to make that technology.

Globalization is a big challenge and also can be a big problem for every nation specially for poor country and developing country. In other case, every nation does not want globalization become one of the cause of loss their national identity. However, it was impossible for him to not depend with another countries. This can be done with several efforts, that is establishing cooperation between countries, especially developing countries, to control the flow of globalization. In the culture sector, there must be an effort to encourage the development of the local cultural potential of the community. In addition, education becomes a key parts towards a smart, moral and cultured society.
