“What would you do in 10 or 20 more years to deal with the global GLOBALIZATION?”

Globalization is the impact of technological process. Globalization is a circumstance where the human life have been changed.  If we can not deal with the global globalization, we can not compete each other. Globalization can make human life easier, especially for their lifestyle.

            Globalization is global processes that occur due to the exchange of world insight, products, thoughts, and aspects of others. The progress of transportation and telecommunications infrastructure, including the emergence of telegraphs, and internet, is a major factor in globalization which increasingly encourages independence of economic and cultural activities.

            Globalization has positive and negative impacts on the life of society and state. In every aspect that is affected by the flow of globalization always raises these two impacts, both positive or negative. The fact of globalization have big impact for a life of individual or community group. In the era of globalization now everyone can easily access the internet to see the outside world by using a small gadget. With gadget all things all things that might not have been thought of before became possible.  Globalization makes people in a culture shock situation, where people are not prepared with the new culture that enters their daily lives. As a result, old habits and norms are starting to fade because of the entry of foreign culture.

            To deal with the global globalization, it can’t do instantly, because it must be done gradually, especially in our country which is still in the process of development. If we can not deal with the global globalization, we We will be eroded by the rapid advancement of information technology by our country. In 10 – 20 years later it’s not impossible if the technology advance wil be more rapid development. It makes we as young people have to find a way to so as not eroded by the times. In this case we can not use old thinking pattern. Ancient times are not the same as today. In 40 or 50 years ago, there is no such thing as internet, automatic teller machine, gadgets, e-book, online shop, and many more. The lives of people in ancient times are not as practical now. In that times, current life may just be their dream because in this era it’s very easy to find the things that you need in your life. Difficulties and costs are no longer a significant problem. What is needed now is creativity from the people, especially for the young people in age 17-23 which is developing their mind. Not only technological advance and economy  that are developing, but also social relations with the other people in this life around the world.

            In 10 – 20 years later, maybe we shall not find the car which we use it everyday now, not use a laptop like now. Globalization opens up opportunities as big as possible to everyone who have an innovation for make our life easier. There are so many ways to improve this world.

            The world cannot be separated from the name of globalization. We as humans also cannot reject globalization. Therefore we must be smart to process what we receive in this world, for the better progress of ourselves and this world. The most effective step in facing globalization for the next 10-20 years is to accept all kinds of progress that exist in every area of life. But we don't immediately accept it raw. We must choose what is suitable for ourselves, others, and also the environment. Choosing wisely is very necessary so that there will be no gaps that actually reverse the development of this world.

            Furthermore, we as young people need to improve our capability and creativity to compete each other. Today, there are so many kinds of technology and everything is very useful for the people’s life. We need to know more about the problem of most people in everyday life. We will not be easily carried away by the flow of globalization if we have high capacity and creativity.

            Next, we must have souls to compete with each other. Souls to compete is important to foster a spirit of high fighting power in the younger generation, especially for the next 10-20 years the world is incessantly carrying out a technological revolution. Intelligence and attitude is very needed to grow the soul that can bring creative and innovative thinking.

            Globalization is also inseparable from the role of adequate education so that it can make high quality people and have high fighting power. The problem is that not all countries have an adequate education system so that people with low education are often found. Therefore, the role of the government in addressing education issues needs to be taken more seriously. In Indonesia itself has begun to be applied which is called literacy which is expected to increase reading interest for students.

             Globalization will continue to develop in a better direction over time, depending on ourselves in responding to it. For the young generation is now expected to develop themselves as broadly as possible so that they can become qualified and tolerant individuals facing globalization in the next 10-20 years.
